Friend (Bi Jian, 比肩)
Same element, same polarity as you. A peer: someone standing where you stand, competing for the same thing and equally able to share the load.
The ten gods are the relationships between your day master — the element of the day you were born — and every other character in a BaZi chart, worked out from which element produces or controls which, and whether the two share a polarity. Friend pairs with Rob Wealth: together, peers and rivals.

What the classic Yuan Hai Zi Ping (渊海子平) says
The work has no section of its own on Friend; it treats it inside its section on Rob Wealth — see Rob Wealth. We do not borrow a passage from elsewhere to fill the gap.
Where is the Friend in your own chart?
The BaZi calculator labels every character in your chart with its ten god.
The other nine: Rob Wealth · Eating God · Hurting Officer · Indirect Wealth · Direct Wealth · Seven Killings · Direct Officer · Indirect Resource · Direct Resource.
